どうして枝を持ち帰るの⁉︎と思った事があるパパママへ

お子さんの外遊び、石やら枝やら

色々発見した子供達は、帰る時には

なぜか持って帰ろうとする、そんな事を

経験した事があるパパやママ、

多いのではないでしょうか？

大人の視点からすると、なんでそんな

そこらに落っこちてた物が欲しいんだろう？

と、不思議に思えますよね。

ベビーサイナーのYくん、

持ち帰りたいワケを

ちゃんと説明してくれた、そんな

エピソードがあります。

石ころや木の棒など見つけた

公園からの帰り道、

ママの「石さん、枝さんに

バイバイしていこうね。」の

言葉に、Yくんはサインをしました。

そのサインは・・・

【おともだち】

石ころや木の棒は一緒に遊んだおともだち、

だから一緒に帰りたいの、

そんな気持ちをサインでママに伝えたYくん。

「そっか、なら一緒に連れて行こうか！」と

ママも納得！

大人にとっては、ただの石、木の棒、でも、

Yくんにとっては一緒に遊んだ

【おともだち】。

一緒に帰りたかったんだね！

サインがなかったら、

「そんなもの置いて行くよ。」と言ってしまいそうだけど、

【おともだち】と教えてくれたら、

大人の心もかわります。

サインって凄い！！

Have you ever wondered why young kids want to bring stones and sticks that they’ve found back home with them?

Young kids love to make discoveries when they play outside. They enjoy finding stones, sticks and leaves. They even want to bring these things back home with them. Many parents must have wondered why children like to keep things that they have found.

Here is a story that explains the reason.

　One day at a park, a babysigner boy,

Y-kun finds stones and sticks, and doesn’t want to let them go. 「It’s time to go home. Why don’t you say good bye to these things and leave them here?」

His mother suggests.

Then, he shows his mom a sign with his hands.

【friends】

「These stones and sticks are my friends, because we play together. I don’t want to say good bye.」

That’s what he means with his BABYSIGN 【friends】.

That makes his mom realize how important these things are to Y-kun.

From an adult point of view, they mean nothing, however, to Y-kun, they are something important!

They are his good friends.

「Let’s go home together, then!!」

His mother says. Thanks to BABYSIGNS,

Y-kun can express his feelings and

his mom also understands

what he needs.

They head to their home with his important friends.
