Here is a story about Babysigner I-KUN（14 months old baby）.

One day, when I-KUN’s mom left her house with I-KUN, she said to herself,

「Oh, I forgot my watch.」

Soon, she noticed I-KUN was moving

his hands.

He was talking to his mom with BABYSIGN.

What do you think he was telling?

　What he said was 「Watch」.

He replied her mom. He didn’t miss it.

What he meant was 「Mom’s watch」.

　He picks up the words that his mom says and gives her a response just like playing catch.

　Even though babies cannot talk yet, it doesn’t mean they don’t understand.

They can be such nice friends to talk with

if they know the way to express.

　BABYSIGNS can be the way.

ママのひとりごとがキャッチボールにかわった！！

ベビーサイナーIくんとママ。

ある日のお出かけ先、

ママがひとりごとで言いました。

「時計忘れちゃったなぁ。」

ママがふと、Iくんに目を向けると

Iくんが何やらサインをしています。

そのサインは・・・

ちゃんと聞いていて

理解し応えたIくん。

Iくんは、ママから

放たれたひとりごとを拾い上げ

ボールにしてママに

返してくれました。

ひとりごとが言葉のキャッチボールに

かわった瞬間。

サインがあるからこその

幸せなひとときですね！
