赤ちゃんだって思い出話したい！！

Is it possible for a baby to express their favorite past?

ベビーサイナーRちゃん、ある日の
レッスンにて教室に入ると
あるサインをしました。
R-chan, a baby who has learned baby signs, showed a sign in my class,
setting her apart from other babies who don’t use signs.

【洗う】
【Wash】

サインをしながら何かに近寄ります。
Then, she went closer to something.

そこには・・・水道が！
There is a sink!

水道を見ては【洗う】サイン、【洗う】サインをしては水道、目線は行ったり来たり。
As she glanced at the sink, she signed ‘Wash,’ and as she made the sign, she stared at the sink!
Her gaze shifted back and forth.

そして、ママの元へ駆け寄ります。ママに対しても【洗う】サインを見せます。
Then, she went to her mom and made the sign again, so her mom could see it too.

するとママが「昨日、手を楽しく洗ったから
その事を言ってるんだと思います。」と
サインのワケを教えてくれました。
Her mom told me, ‘She enjoyed washing her hands a lot, so that’s what she wants to say.’

話し言葉がないと、過去の出来事を
伝えられないけど、サインがあると
それは可能になるのです。
Without words, it’s impossible for a baby to convey the past, however,
with signs, it’s possible to express it.

楽しかった事は、大人も子供も赤ちゃんも
何度も何度も言いたいですよね！！
It doesn’t matter how old you are; it’s natural for everyone to
express something that’s so much fun over and over again.
