One Little Sign, So Much Fun

ベビーサイナー達は、

サインの仕方で個性が現れます。そんな、クスッと笑えるベビーサイナーYくんの

お話です。

It’s fascinating how you can glimpse a baby’s personality just by watching how they sign.
Let me share a story that’s sure to make you smile.

Yくんは、【もっと】【おしまい】

のサインを

使いこなすようになりました。

1歳1か月とは思えない使いこなし！！

Baby signer Y-kun had already learned two signs: [More] and [Done].
The way he uses baby signs on his own makes it hard to believe he’s just 13 months old.

　ある日の食卓、Yくんサインをします。【おしまい！！】

「ごちそうさまだね！」とママ。

片付けモードに入ろうかな、

ママは動きだします。

と！！その瞬間！！

Yくん、今度は【もっと！！】と、

サイン。

One day at mealtime, he confidently signed [Done!!]
“Okay, I’ll put it away,” said his mom, shifting into cleanup mode.
But just as she reached for the dish—
[More!!]

「まだ食べたいて事ね！分かったよ。」

とママはまた席に座ります。　

片付けモード解除！！

“Oh, I see! You’re not done yet,” she said with a chuckle, settling back into her seat.
Cleanup mode: off.

するとYくんまたサイン。

【おしまい！！】　

ママ、「やっぱりおしまいね！」

ママの動きを見てYくん、【もっと！！】

Then again—
[Done!!]
“All right, you’re finished this time,” she said… only to see another big sign:
[More!!]—accompanied by his cheeky grin!

そのにやけた表情は・・・

「ママを遊んでるよね⁈」　

ママはYくんにツッコミました。

Yくんの明るい表情が、

ママとのやりとりを

楽しんでいる事を物語ります。

Every time Mom tried to switch modes, Y-kun playfully changed his signs, too.
“You’re really having fun with this, aren’t you?” she laughed.
Y-kun’s big grin said it all—he was clearly having a great time communicating with his mom.

サインでママを操るなんて、さすが！！

ベビーサイナー！！

サインでこんな風にふざける様子は

とにかく可愛い！！

Pulling the strings with baby signs? Now that’s a true baby signer!
And so, mealtime turned into a joyful game for them both.
