Babysigns makes changes in a family.What is that?

こちらは、ベビーサイナーSちゃんのあるエピソード。

This is an episode about a babysigner, S-chan.

Sちゃんは、「もっと」「ミルク」「ぼうし」など、たくさんのサインを覚えました。

S-chan has learned a lot of Babysigns such as 「more」「milk」and「hat」.

Sちゃんのママがベビーサインを使い出してから、Sちゃんのお兄ちゃんもベビーサインに興味深々。

Since her mom started using Babysigns, S-chan’s big brother also got intererted in it.

お兄ちゃんも一緒にたくさんのサインを覚えたようです。He began to memorize many Babysigns.

ある日、Sちゃんが2つのサインをしました。

One day, S-chan showed two Babysigns.

「ぞうさん」「もっと」と

言っています。She said, 「elephant」and「more」.

それを見たお兄ちゃん、「わかった！まかせて！」と言いながら急いで去っていきました。In an instant, her brother said「You got it!!」 and he rushed away.

そして、ある物を手にして戻ってきました。

それは、・・・、「ぞうさん」のおもちゃ。Then, he came back as soon as possible with a TOY in his hand. He got the ELEPHANT!!

「はい、これがほしかったんだよね⁉︎」お兄ちゃんはそう言いながら、その「ぞうさん」をSちゃんに渡しました。「Here, this is what you want, right?!」 he said and passed her the ELEPHANT.

Sちゃんは笑顔で「ぞうさん」をぎゅっと握りしめました。S-chan held it tightly with her happy smile.

ベビーサインのおかげで、お兄ちゃんは

妹ちゃんがどうしたいかを簡単に

理解できます。
